The widespread use of digital communication tools has facilitated readers' access to information. Readers, who previously relied on traditional media for news, can now fulfill this need more quickly and practically on digital platforms. Internet journalism, being one of these platforms, serves as a crucial tool for the public to receive news. However, ethical issues persist in internet journalism, similar to traditional media. Therefore, adhering to ethical rules is equally crucial in online journalism. This study examines the ethical aspects of how images or texts are presented for advertising purposes on the web pages of high-circulation newspapers in Turkey.
