Until the century, there weren’t any significant changes in the clothing style of Ottoman rulers who have known with their chocies of classical and luxurious style of clothing. When the clothing of the sultans are examined, it is seen that they had a cap called crest for their head, a caftan or fur as a dress, a shalwar for their legs and boots or shoes on their feet. The units that played a significant role in the preparation on the clothes that continued in the classical style were abolished in the 19th century. And these tailors replaced by the tailors from the west. This had an important effect on the dressing style and became an important factor for the changing in the dress style.
