Abstract


Turkey and Japan Economic Relations Through Japanese Modernization

When the historical processes are examined in a broad perspective, the oldest foundations of the idea that Japan can be a development model for our country are based on the state policies of the Ottoman Empire. In Turkey, the idea of the Japanese Development Model, which has created discussion platforms since the 1950s, has become a popular judicial concept by providing political and political support, especially in the 1980s. Along with this study, it examines the economic relations of Turkey and Japan through the Japanese Modernization in the context of the idea of the Japanese Development Model in historical processes. In this context, it covers the said problems and solution proposals, investment areas, agreements and protocols through Turkey-Japan economic relations by adding Japanese modernization and Western relations to the integrity of the subject.
